Pricing: How We Scope and Quote

Every quote is written for the firm in front of us, because a sole practitioner with three practice areas and a firm with three offices and twenty lawyers need different sites. This page explains what we ask, what changes the price and what every project includes. For published market ranges from other providers, see our cost guide.

What we ask before quoting

A short call or a completed brief gives us what we need:

  • How many practice areas you want to feature, and whether any involve personal injury work
  • How many lawyers will have profiles, and whether any hold specialist accreditation
  • How many offices, and in which states
  • Whether you have a current site, and roughly how many pages it has
  • Who will write the copy: your team, us, or a mix
  • Integrations you rely on, such as booking tools, practice management intake or a newsletter platform
  • When you would like to launch

From that we prepare a written scope listing every page, every deliverable and the review points, with a fixed price for the scope.

What changes the quote

FactorWhy it matters
Number of practice area pagesEach one is interviewed, written, designed and reviewed
Number of lawyer profilesEach needs writing, a consistent photograph and accreditation checks
CopywritingInterviews and drafting are a significant part of the work when we write
Personal injury contentNeeds careful drafting and review against state advertising limits
OfficesEach office page needs local details, access notes and Business Profile alignment
Redesign of an existing siteAdds an audit, a redirect map and checks after launch
IntegrationsBooking, intake and newsletter tools add set-up and testing time
PhotographyBriefing a photographer and preparing images, if you need new portraits

What every project includes

Whatever the size, a Lawquendrix project includes:

  • A written scope and timeline before work starts
  • A claims review that flags any wording needing evidence before a principal approves it
  • Accessibility testing against WCAG 2.2 Level AA
  • Secure set-up: HTTPS, authenticated email for forms, security headers
  • An XML sitemap, Google Search Console set-up and redirects from any old pages
  • A handover session and a written editing guide
  • Ownership of the domain, content and site files by the firm

How payment works

Projects are usually invoiced in three stages: a deposit when the scope is signed, a second payment when the design and copy are approved, and the balance at launch. The exact split is set out in the written scope. If the scope changes during the project, we agree the change and its cost in writing before doing the work.

Ongoing care

The care and hosting plan is a fixed monthly fee covering hosting, updates, backups, monthly form tests, a set amount of content editing and a yearly review. It is optional. You can host the site elsewhere and engage us for changes when you need them.

What we will not charge for

  • A first call to discuss your firm and what you need
  • The written scope and quote
  • Fixing our own mistakes after launch

Getting a quote

Write to us with a few lines about your firm, or send the brief from the brief builder. We reply within two business days, and the quote follows a short call.

Questions people ask

Why don't you publish package prices?

Law firm sites vary widely in the number of practice areas, profiles and offices, and in how much writing is needed. A fixed price for a written scope is fairer than a package that either over-charges small firms or leaves things out for larger ones.

Can we spread the cost?

Projects are paid in stages tied to approval points. If you need a different arrangement, ask before the scope is signed.

Is GST included in your quotes?

Each written quote states clearly whether GST applies and shows it as a separate line where it does.
