About Lawquendrix

Lawquendrix is a web design and development studio for Australian law firms. We are not a law firm and we do not give legal advice. Our guides explain how rules affect websites and point to the regulators and professional bodies that publish them.

Questions people ask

Do you only work with law firms?

Yes. Lawquendrix designs and builds websites for law practices: solicitors' firms, sole practitioners and barristers' chambers in Australia.

Is Lawquendrix a law firm?

No. We are a web design studio. Nothing on this site is legal advice, and firms should confirm their own obligations with their regulator or Law Society.

How long does a law firm website take to build?

We plan for six to ten weeks for a small or mid-sized firm, from signed scope to launch. Copy review is the stage that moves most.

Can you redesign our existing website?

Yes. We audit the current site, keep or redirect the pages that already bring in visits, rewrite what needs it and relaunch with a full redirect map.

Will the website work on phones?

Yes. Every page is designed for small screens first and tested at phone and desktop widths, including the menu, forms and tables.

Do you write the content?

We can. We interview the lawyers who handle each area and draft the copy for the firm to review, or we edit copy your team writes.

Who owns the website when it is finished?

The firm owns its domain, content and site files. If you move to another provider, we hand over everything needed.

Do you check our pages against the advertising rules?

We write with Rule 36 of the conduct rules in mind and flag claims that need evidence or care, such as specialist wording or personal injury content. A principal of the firm approves the final copy, because the professional duty sits with the firm.

Can our profiles mention accredited specialists?

Yes, for lawyers who hold current accreditation, on their own profiles and in the form their accrediting body prescribes. We keep accreditation marks away from the firm name and other lawyers.

Do you help with SEO?

We set up the foundations: structure, titles, speed, structured data, Search Console and Business Profile alignment. We do not sell link schemes or promise rankings.

Can you create pages for several suburbs or service areas?

We build a page for each real office and describe other areas you serve on practice area or contact pages. We avoid near-identical suburb pages, which Google's spam policies treat as doorways.

Are your enquiry forms secure?

Forms run over HTTPS, send messages by authenticated email, use a hidden spam trap, a timing check and rate limits, and include a short collection notice.

Do you test accessibility?

Yes. We test against WCAG 2.2 Level AA with automated tools, keyboard-only use and a screen reader before launch.

Do you offer ongoing support?

Yes. The care plan covers hosting, updates, backups, monthly form tests, content changes and a yearly review. It is optional.

How do I get started?

Write to us with a few lines about your firm, or use the brief builder to prepare a brief first. We reply within two business days.

Where are you based?

We work remotely and can take on projects for firms anywhere in Australia, with calls by phone or video.
