Accessibility Statement: Our Aim and How to Reach Us

We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. If anything on the site is a barrier for you, please tell us and we will fix it or provide the information another way.

What we have done

  • Colour contrast checked for text, buttons and links against the 4.5:1 and 3:1 ratios
  • One H1 per page and headings in a logical order
  • Every form field labelled, with error messages next to the field they relate to
  • All menus, buttons, accordions and forms usable with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative images hidden from screen readers
  • Layouts tested at phone and desktop widths, with tables that turn into labelled cards on small screens
  • No time limits on reading, and no auto-playing media or puzzle-style CAPTCHAs. The contact form's spam check expires after two hours; if that happens, your typed text is kept so you can send it again
  • Reduced motion respected for people who set that preference

How we tested

Pages were checked with automated tools, used with a keyboard only, and reviewed at 390 and 1440 pixel widths. We have not yet commissioned testing by people who use assistive technology day to day, and we would welcome that feedback.

Known limitations

  • The concept design screens on the home and concepts pages are small illustrations. Each has a text description for screen readers, but the visual text inside them is small by design.
  • Some source documents we link to, such as regulator PDFs, are published by other organisations and may not be fully accessible.
