What she does
Sophia researches, writes and edits the guides in our resources section and reviews the service pages for accuracy. Her focus is how rules and standards translate into decisions on a website: what a profile can say about accreditation, how an enquiry form should handle privacy, which accessibility checks matter most.
How she works
- Primary sources first. Legislation, regulators and professional bodies come before commentary. When a guide relies on a law firm article, a vendor or a marketplace, the source list labels it.
- Exact wording. Where a rule turns on particular words, the guide quotes them and links to the source.
- Dates. Each guide shows when it was last checked, and sources carry their own publication or update dates where available.
- Limits stated plainly. If a guide covers some states and not others, it says so.
Corrections
If you find an error, write to us. Corrections are made promptly and the guide's checked date is updated. The editorial policy sets out the process.
